I would like to be able to add a URL or a link in a note and see only the link text. Now I can add a link but if the link it, let's say 250 chars long, it will mess the page output since it does not wrap. We could use BBCode or something like that to add a link, so if I want to link to http://www.yahoo.com I would only see Yahoo! and it would be clickable to the URL I need. That would be very useful for me.

Thanks for the suggestion -- we're looking into the best ways that we can support URLs in tasks/notes.

The Add Task form on the mobile access page (http://m.rememberthemilk.com/) allows me to add and then view a URL associated with a task. I can't, however, find the URL when I view the task via my web browser.

The mobile version happened to get that feature first -- we'll be updating the website with the URL field soon.

We've now added a URL property to tasks (just underneath 'tags' in the task details box).
We've also fixed the wrapping issue so that long URLs in notes display correctly.

Forgot to mention, the keyboard shortcut for URL is 'u'.

says:Would it be possible to make he text of the task in the list a link to the url? I like that I can add a URL, but I don't like that I need to select the task before following the link. If I could just click the link from the list it would help a lot.

says:Flatiron32, you might find this thread of some use, in particular my suggestion of the Firefox extension Linkify.
