I think it would be a good idea to use the subject of the RTM reminder Email for the title of the task.

I agree, having the task title as e-mail subject would be helpful. This is of course tricky if the reminder e-mail is about several tasks.
Another idea, if that is not possible: Mention the task(s) as early as possible. This makes it easier to see what the e-mail is about if your e-mail solution has a preview function that gives you the first two or three lines of a message without having to open it.
