Specify recurring task appear time

I know it's possible by creating a smart list with due:"next week" but I don't want to clutter my tasks list.

The best solution is probably the Smart List -- I know a few people have suggested hiding tasks until later, but unfortunately doing that means there'd be no way to edit the task until it appeared again.
