There are an abundance of posts regarding adding new priorities, but I did not see one about having below normal priorities. I would like to request that (one such level is fine for me), which would filter to the bottom of the task list.
Could be used for those low-priority, back-burner, less-important, pie-in-the-sky tasks that stay perennially on the todo list ....
Yes, this could be done with tags / smart lists, but my personal philosophy with todo's is that if I can't *see* a task, it doesn't get done. So shuffling it off to another list pretty much means it won't ever get done :( Below-normal priority moves it to the bottom of the list, but its still in the list. So at least they have a *chance* of getting done....

says:Couldn't you just use 3 for most tasks, leaving "none" for back-burner tasks?

says:But none is the default for new tasks, so most new tasks I put in will get left at that setting. I see his point here. Even if we had 1-5 and -1 instead of the current 1-3, I'd be happy.

I have just started to use RTM, and this is exactly the feature I soon found missing: to be able to downgrade the priority of a task _below_ the default value.
