says:One thing I would like to see on Locations is some kind of Google Maps/RTM mashup that not only puts tasks on a map, like it does now, but also allows you to input origin and destination points, then points out which locations with incomplete tasks are along or near that route. For instance: I have to pick some clothes up at the dry cleaner today, which is on my way home. I'd like to be able to put in my work and home addresses just as you would get directions on Google Maps, then show the route similarly highlighted on the map with location pointers along the way for where I could get some tasks done on my way. It would also be nice to be able to customize how far out of my way I'm willing to go, like a setting for "Show me tasks within 1 mile of my route" where 1 could be any number and "my route" could be "my route", "my start address", or "my destination". This way, if I'm on my way home, I can exclude tasks that would require me to change my route too much, but if I'm going shopping downtown, I'd probably be willing to drive around and run some errands that are in the general area.
My apologies if this has already been done; it just occurred to me today as I was looking at RTM and my driving directions on Google Maps trying to pinpoint things myself.
