Sync Outlook Tasks and RTM - please!
This would be a boon to the millions who follow David Allen's Get Things Done (GTD). If you are not getting many requests for it, that may be because you seem reluctant to consider it, which makes people not bother to request it, which makes you think it's not wanted, which makes you give it a low priority anf thus reluactant to consider it. We need an online application that syncs our tasks and categories and priorities so we can work well when we're not at our desks.
I currently maintain two separate lists, and inevitabley somethign falls through the cracks. Please?

Actually - syncing with ANYTHING other than mobile services would be a boon.
Why?
Because RTM has no calendar view, that's why.
The Weekly Planner is OK, but for a fast overview of a month it is a little clunky to say the least.
I am seriously - sadly - considering moving off RTM and on to Outlook since I have just started working seriously from home and the lack of a calendaring view of things I need to do is starting to hurt.

For some reason I though I saw a screen showing the ability to sync with the outlook task bar :(
Guess I was wrong, and that was one of my main reasons for signing up

Please... Make it a pro feature, and let us pick what we want to sync with it (by tag or location) so I don't have to have all my personal tasks mixed in with my work tasks.

Hello,
it seems that there is still the requirement for Remember The Milk Outlook Synchronization. I have just started to develop Outlook Synchronization with other software, but might use that to create the synchronization with Remember The Milk.
To understand better if I should do that, I have created a form at
http://davidpodhola.blogspot.com/2010/02/remember-milk-outlook-synchronization.html
If you think it is worth that, please let me know by filling the form
Thanks,
David

Just to update you - during past about 6 weeks I have been able to get to working beta of Outlook synchronization. If you do not mind beta software and have Outlook 2007, you may download it from http://www.sprinxcrm.com/SprinxCRM%20OutlookSync%20for%20Remember%20The%20Milk/publish.htm . I use it every day as well as the other beta users.
I expect to have the full version in few weeks.

says:You can sync Outlook and RTM with the RTM outlook sync tool, see the information at Milk Sync for Microsoft Outlook.
elodie,
This page gives details on installing MilkSync for Outlook.
If that doesn't help, would it be possible to submit a MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook issue report via our support system, if you haven't done so already?
Just select your issue from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, click on "I'd like to report a new issue".
Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.
Thanks!
