Include Day of the Week in Task List

In the task list, I would really like to see the day of the week that the task is due. Seeing "05 Jan" doesn't instantly tell me when I will need to do this task. Truncating the day of the week to three characters would be good to save space. E.g:

01 Jan
03 Jan
04 Jan

Becomes:

Sun 01 Jan
Tue 03 Jan
Wed 04 Jan

Whenever I see a date, I find myself either working out the day in my head, or clicking on the task to discover the day in the "Due" field.

This idea is considered similar to "Friendlier due dates", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
