Often I have weekly recurring tasks which only run so many weeks.
Usually I only mark the last one complete after the deadline has come and gone, so a new occurance of it has already been created in my task list.
What I'd like to have available (whether it's feasable, or useable is another matter) is the option to have something like a "cancel recurring" button that would zap the recurring field in the task and also delete any future-dated auto-created entries for the same task.

Currently, if you want to stop a task from repeating, you'll need to clear the repeating option for that task (if you delete the task, it will only remove that instance of the repeating task, not stop it from repeating in future).
We're looking at ways to improve the repeating feature, particularly ways to cancel repeated tasks.
