More flexibility with reminders

I have list of people's birthdays, for that entire list I'll have one set of reminder options that apply, say remind me 4 days before via email and IM.

Also have a list work meetings. Remind me via text message 15 mins before.

An option for multiple reminders would be nice...say 1 week before, day before, and 2 hours before.

From a user standpoint, it'd be great if this could be offered on a per task basis, but even if it was offered on a per priority basis it'd be every helpful.

I agree..I see there have been a lot of requests for this so I hope it's implemented soon. If I could say "for this set of reminders send me a text message, but for these, an instant message - it would be great". Sounds like that's the idea you have too.
