I am a little confused on the public lists. Is there a way to browse other people's public lists, or do you have to know the exact URL?

You need to know the other person's username -- their published lists will be at:
http://www.rememberthemilk.com/home/username
If you go to that URL, you will see that person's public lists as well as any lists they have published for you (if you're logged in).

Ahhh... ok. When I saw public lists I thought it meant that we could search for lists that others have created. Like if I wanted to search for a list of stuff to a tailgate, I could search for "tailgate".
Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Ideas forum.
