Create tasks from emails using other Gmail interfaces

I use the IMAP email feature on the iPhone for my gmail. Within that feature, I can move an email to the tag folder I associate with my RTM Gmail extension.

The next time I open Gmail on my computer, the email is tagged in All Mail (it doesn't keep the email in the Inbox) but not being picked up as a task in the RTM extension.

Is there any way to make this work?

Sorry, this isn't possible -- as csesget describes, the RTM feature is triggered by actions in Firefox, so it won't know if you've labeled or starred emails outside of Gmail in your browser. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't think there would be, since RTM is simply responding to your actions within FF. I simply leave those emails in my inbox, or put them in my folder/label called @Pending and deal with it when I'm back at my desktop.
