Hi,
The new "Duplicate Task" feature is really great. It would be even better with a keyboard shortcut.
I checked the help and I couldn't find it.
Cheers,
Pascal.

I 2nd this motion.
Quite often 1 task turns out only to be the start of a series and I want to create another...
blah, blah - that's why you created the function.
But why not offer a keybd shortcut?
You know how we RTM'er love our keyboards!

I vote for this as well, I like to split my tasks up and this would make it much easier.

says:Let me say more about why this would be really helpful.
Often, I do brainstorming on a given project (e.g. p-finalpaper). I try to list as many practical subtasks as I possibly can, so that I break the (otherwise overwhelming) project down into bite-size chunks.
But it's important to ensure that each task added shares certain characteristics--e.g. the proper tasks, the project's due date, etc. Duplicate Task is obviously a great tool for doing this. Once I have the mirror task, I tap 'R' and I'm off and running with another task name.
But having to take my hands off the keyboard to shuffle the mouse up to the drop down slows me down and prevents me from rattling off a string of sub-tasks with ease.
