Does RTM not have a quick add feature that leverages "Smart Add"?

I noticed the Quick Add feature is still old and klunky. Are you all going to add a similar quick add feature that leverages your Smart Add capability?

Yes, that would be great to use the same syntax via every channel. Once you get used to smart add syntax, it's quite a hassle to switch back. At least smart add support for importing task list via e-mail shouldn't be so expensive - there's limited support even for "classic" syntax and it's all server-side, so I believe RTM team could just switch the parsers (in case of good architecture :-)).
