importing data

I know I can export my lists via the Settings -> Info -> iCalendar Service (All Lists) (or should I use the "Event Services (All Lists)"?) but how would I go about importing that data? I'm essentially looking for a way to archive my data in case I make a mistake, which is known to happen quite frequently, and then re-import it if necessary.

If you make a mistake, the undo action is your lifesaver. (Sorry to sound like a broken record; I know I just mentioned it in your thread about repeating tasks.) Keep in mind it lasts only as long as your browser session, so if you refresh or close the website, the undo history ends there.

As for iCalendar, it's not currently possible to import via the iCalendar service. The best thing to do to that end is to use the Import email address to import a list of tasks.
