ico_calendar.gif: the GIF that will not load

Every day I get an eternal "loading" animation on the RTM tab. The status bar reads as follows:

(6 items remaining) Downloading picture http://0.static.rememberthemilk.com/img/ico/ico_calendar.gif

The page hangs (or thinks it hangs) on that same image every day, and so IE never believes it's fully loaded the page. The functionality is there, but it's still an annoying distraction. Anyone else seeing this?

You may want to try clearing your cache/offline files and reloading.

Also, Gears may cause connection problems like you're seeing. Can you check to see if you have it installed? The easiest way to do so is to look on the header of the website for either Offline (no Gears) or a green arrow (Gears). You can also look under the Tools menu to see if Gears Settings is listed there or on Google's site for more instructions specific to your OS/browser.

Let me know what you find!

It wasn't a Google Gears problem, since I don't have Gears installed. The issue did go away, however, after I deleted temporary files and reloaded the page. Thanks!

No, there's no specific reason to have to do that. It could be a browser problem otherwise though; which browser are you using?
