iCalendar support and Sunbird

mike.howerton says:
Love the site and want to start using it to keep track of a to-do list that is out of control. I am very interested in the iCalendar functionality but can't figure out how to make this work with Sunbird.

Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

You can subscribe to a 'remote calendar' in Sunbird.

Just go to the File menu and select 'Subscribe to Remote Calendar...'.

For the Remote Server URL, copy and paste the iCalendar URL (you can subscribe to a single to-do list by copying the iCalendar URL in the list details, or subscribe to all your lists by copying the link underneath 'Settings' then 'Info').

It will prompt you for your Remember The Milk username and password - once you enter those, you should be subscribed to your list/s.

Hmm, when I do this I get an entry under Calendars and a rotating set of arrows to the right of the new entry. But no items. And the arrows just rotate forever. (Well, until I get tired of watching them)

No password or username prompt at all.

Roger, you can subscribe to your lists in Sunbird or iCal so that you have a copy of your lists offline. If that doesn't answer your question, please let me know :)
