Daily Reminders Problem

New user question.

In my settings I've set up 'Send me a daily reminder...' as 1 week 'before the task is due', at 5am.

I take this to mean that I should be sent a daily reminder every day before the task is due. Is that correct?

I've made sure the daily reminder setting is ticked and that my timezone is set.

However I am not receiving any reminders at all. I've checked my spam box and that's not the problem.

What have I done wrong? How might I fix this?

You set it to '1 week'? I think that would mean you'd have to have a task at least one week in the future to get an email about it.

If you want to get daily emails at 5AM with a list of things due, just leave the 'before the task is due' field blank. Check the 'before the task is due' box and set your time to 5AM. That should do the trick... I think.
