How does Sharing Task(s)/Lists work?

Hi everyone,
How does this thing work? I'm trying to share a list with someone and it just says "pending".. We can't figure out how to get the list to show up on each others screen so we can both work on the same to-do list.
Any insight for me?

Chris, the recipient of the share offer needs to "accept". If you go to settings, click on the list you want to be shared with you, then go to the right to "accept", you'll be in business.
