Desktop app peeves

With the new desktop apps just released, this seems like a good time to whine about a couple things.
1. No support for stored username/password. This is especially annoying because I've been using a "fake" Windows app (made with Chrome's "Add to desktop" feature) which very conveniently fills in the login info thanks to LastPass, which I have installed in Chrome. The Mac version of Chrome lacks "Add to desktop," so I'm stuck using the web app until the "real" desktop apps stop forgetting who I am. :(
2. Zoom level not retained between sessions. This is new to the Electron apps — the old Mac app didn't have this problem.

Andrewski. Maybe I've missed something here but what is the advantage of the Windows app compared to running it in a browser? The app and the browser app both work off line. Is the Windows App more than just a "wrapper"? Curious to know, its not a problem either way :-)

The app is a standalone app so you can receive reminders, have it accessible and running, don’t have to have your browser open, etc.

I looked forward to the Linux app so that I could be more memory effiicient since I normally have a browswer open with 4 tabs, 2 for personal smart lists and 2 for work related smart lists. It's easy to keep track and enter tasks this way, but at the expense of using up RAM after a few days.
The native Linux app works great, feels great, but I have yet to figure out how to run more than one instance of the app so I can keep my 4 instances running simultaneously. Any ideas?

We don’t currently offer a means to open multiple instances of the app, sorry, but we appreciate the feedback!
In the meantime, you may want to open the web app for any extra instances you want to have open of the app. Bob may have been caught last week with 4 instances open on his screen at once. (It’s hard work being a coding monkey!)
