New to Pro - Question about Tasks & Subtasks

enhayden1321 says:
I am working on a project. The project has three sub tasks. I want the subtasks to do the following:

Task 1: Read XYZ Book on Sunday March 1 to Wednesday March 4 with the task populating my to do list for each of those days then ending.

Task 2: Buy eBook XYZ on a certain date.

Task 3: Write research paper on XYZ book beginning on March 5th and ending on March 13th (due date for paper).

I've tried to build these different tasks and only Task 2 works because it is so simple and straightforward.

Hi enhayden1321,
You may want to create your tasks as follows (using Smart Add syntax):
Project task: Give it the name you want, maybe a due date of March 13th?
Task 1: Read XYZ book ^March 1 *every day until March 4
Task 2: Buy eBook XYZ ^March 5 (or whenever you choose)
Task 3: Write research paper on XYZ book ^March 5 *every day until March 13

Then, on each day your tasks would be listed as expected, and they would end as desired as well.

Hope this helps!
