webcal

Every time I click on the iCal link in RTM I get an error message "Webcal is not a recognized protocol". How can I make webcal a "recognized protocol"?

It's not possible with IE...IE doesn't support webcal...
You can try using a different browser (like Firefox) or by right click and saving the file...

You should be able to copy and paste the iCalendar link into your calendar program. If you have any problems with the webcal:// part, try changing that to http:// and see if that helps.

The webcal protocol is recognized on a Mac, but may not be automatically recognized by anything on PC.

I have succeeded in copying the iCal link into my calendar program (Sunbird). I think you're right in saying it may not be automatically recognized by anything on PC. Changing to http:// does not help.
In answer to Daniele, I generally don't use IE. I use Firefox and since yesterday I've started trying out a new browser called Flock. I'm not sure whether I understand the "right click and save" bit. Maybe I can do that. But what happens then - to the saved file, I mean?
