Smart add for due date does not seem to work on 3rd party apps

I tried using Yar Desktop and the RTM FaRR plugin and both seem to ignore the due date operator, such as adding "today" or "next week" when adding tasks. Adding the due date fails even if you include the "^".

Has something in the API changed that breaks this functionality, because both of these apps claim to support that particular operator.

Each app supports them a bit differently. In the case of yarDesktop, they have some different shortcuts (similar to Smart Add, but not the same).

In FaRR Remember The Milk, you can type rtm options to get to the Options, where you can enable Smart Add.
