It depends a bit on your browser. Since you mention "start", I assume you're using Windows, so you can do this in Internet Explorer or Chrome.

In Internet Explorer, you can drag the cow icon from the Address Bar to your Taskbar to pin it (or to your Desktop).

In Chrome, you can install our web app from the Chrome Web Store, and then right-click on it from your New Tab/Window screen to choose "Create shortcut".

I tried this with Exolorer and it doesn't work. I'm using Windows 7 normally with Firefox. Any suggestions? Thanks

With Firefox, the method should be pretty similar to Internet Explorer: dragging the cow icon from the location bar to your desktop should create shortcut. This article from Mozilla has instructions on how to do this.
