Can we see tags in Desktop's Overview?

I tried getting around this problem by having a smart list that checks for incomplete tasks due today. However, I am not able to set the list to include tasks that are due before today as well. Any help?

Thanks for your feedback on wanting to see the tags in the Overview.

In the meantime, a Smart List would be a good workaround. You can include past tasks by searching for dueBefore:today. So your Smart List could be

dueBefore:today OR due:today

You can include other search criteria or create other Smart Lists too, so let us know if you have any other questions about them!
