Public list showing old repeating tasks

I just subscribed to my inbox as a public calendar for windows live calendar.

Old items that were repeated tasks are showing up again even though in the RTM archive they show having ended a months and months ago.

Is there a way to stop this while still keeping them in the archive?

When using the iCalendar feed, it's not possible to define an ending date for a repeating task, sorry.

However, the iCalendar Events feed does not include completed tasks. If these are old, archived tasks, would it be possible to unarchive the list, complete the tasks, then re-archive the list? This should prevent them from being displayed on your calendar.
