Difference between due date and deadline

Currently, the only task field that accepts a date is the Due date which can be used for either of these purposes.

To differentiate between them, it may be helpful to use tags. For example, all tasks that have hard deadlines could be tagged with deadline. You could then search for these tasks with a search like:

due:today AND tag:deadline
