New tasks on website - default to due today?

Is there a way to set the default of new added tasks (when on the website) to have their due date set as today? Right now they go to Inbox with no due date if I don't manually set one.

It's not currently possible to set a default due date in the web app, sorry.

One alternative to entering a due date for each task is to create a "Today" Smart List with the criteria due:today. Any tasks you enter while viewing this list will inherit today as the due date automatically.
