zorglub2000, we've open-sourced some of the components used in Remember The Milk -- these are available here. We may write some tutorials on using php-json at some stage (this is what's behind the signup form and the rest of the site :), but in the meantime, sites like Ajaxian are probably better resources for AJAX coding examples.
