"Every x" reminder question

When something is set up to repeat every x (e.g. year) -- when does it show up again in the task list with the following years date? I completed an annual task and expected to see it come up again with a due date of a year after the original due date, but nothing shows up.

I can't imagine they stay hidden for a year, so where do they go once you complete a recurring task?

The new task will be generated on the original due date.

We're aware of this issue (completing an every repeating task before it's due) and we'll be making it behave the same way as an after repeating task: i.e., the new task is generated as soon as you complete the previous one.
