"Sept. 15" and similar formats ignore second digit

(closed account) says:
I have mm/dd/yyyy format.

When I type in a due date of "aug. 15" or "sept. 21," it give me "aug. 1" and "sep. 1" instead.

It doesn't seem to like to parse the actual number of the date if you enter it AFTER a month abbreviation containing a period.

It also doesn't seem to like "Sept" for "September" with or without a period. If you enter "Sept" as the month and then include any number after it the word, it just make it Sep. 1.

armchairdj, thanks for letting us know -- we'll look into this further (I don't think we currently support using a period in the abbreviation or using four letter abbreviations, but we may be able to add support for these).
