It could be Gears, which may cause connection problems like you're seeing. Can you check to see if you have it installed? The easiest way to do so is to look on the header of the website for either Offline (no Gears) or a green arrow (Gears). You can also look under the Tools menu to see if Gears Settings is listed there or on Google's site for more instructions specific to your OS/browser.

Otherwise, you may want to try safe mode. I mean, it sounds like you're using Firefox. :)

Thanks. I dont have Gears and the problem still exist - I can see the "You're not currently logged into Remember The Milk. You must login to enable this feature." but when I click Login and login via the RTM nothing happens in Gmail. Any suggestions?? and add ons that may cause that?
FYI, I am using Windows 7.

I found the issue - in FF the "Accept Cookies from 3rd party" was unchecked. I checked it and it resolved the issue. You may want to add this info to the FAQ.

Ah, good deal. That's covered in the Troubleshooting section for the gadget (but not the extension, I realize now; we'll have to correct that).
