adding tasks from gmail by adding label problem

I have configured gmail so that it adds a new task when I label emails with a specific label. However this only works when within the Inbox.

If I search for mails and then add the label from the search results page the corresponding task doesn't get created.

I have the same problem on a Windows version at work

2.) Yes, it is "English (US)"
