GMail is logged in but does not show or save tasks

I can manually add tasks, but "refresh" does nothing.

I have saved the task settings but "star" or "label" actions do nothing.

Is this important: "You haven't given any third-party services permission to interact with your Remember The Milk account." even though I have installed RTM for Gmail and Google Calendar...
