Gmail extension works for wife not for me- same box/browser

I've duplicated exactly all the gmail settings. I've tried a new FF profile and even a different box.

Another thing that might be worth checking is that the tasks pane is not collapsed for your account. You can expand it by clicking on the small arrow on the right of the page in Gmail.

I was going crazy wondering why I couldn't see my tasks, only to find that they were just hidden behind the pane. :)
