Tasks not showing in GMAIL RTM

phil.bassett says:

I used RTM in Gmail very happily for about 10 mins. It worked fine. Then all the tasks disappeared. Now when I add a task it shows up in my lists on the RTM website but not in my gmail panel.

This is the same whether I have it set on All lists or filter by a particular list.

I have tried logging off the logging on again. I have also tried uninstalling and resinstalling the Firefox extension.

Any ideas

Phil

I have the same problem, stopped working a couple of days ago.

I can answer my own question now - after a lot of prodding around.

I had options set on 'group by due date'. Although I had 'show all tasks' set as well.

None of my tasks had a due date. I would have thought this would show all tasks but not grouped as there were no dates to group by. But in fact it shows no tasks at all.

Thanks for letting us know -- we're going to check this out and see what's going on here (this doesn't sound like how it should be working!).

Thanks for checking this. For what it's worth, tasks getting hidden from view is still a problem for me as of Jan 3. Logging out and logging back in fixes temporarily.

In my workflow Gmail integration is a must to use RTM.

On further investigation.. my problem may just be my task view "collapsing" periodically without me asking it to. (Still a problem but not as big.) I just had an occurrence of what I thought was this disappearing tasks issue and discovered I could get them back by doing "Set Task View here" back to "All Tasks".
