URL links

Evernote has a very nice feature which allows links to notes. The problem I am having is that when I insert the link into the URL section of a task within the Gmail addon, RTM adds "http" to the note, which then renders the link unusable.
The web version does not do this and thus the link works fine.

Any suggestions on how to remove the http part of the URL link for the Gmail addon? I can't seem to be able to edit the URL once I past it in.

This is a very handy feature of Evernote, and thus would be great to be able to use in RTM. Thanks for any suggestions.

You are still able to enter a URL that is not "http" by entering it directly in the web app. From the Gmail Browser Add-on you can use the "Show Task in RTM" option to view it in the web app.

Also, is there a way to subscribe to forum topics so that I get notified of any responses or updates?

It's not possible to subscribe to a specific forum topic, but each forum has its own Atom feed. If you go to the main Gmail forum and scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see a Subscribe link. This will be updated as replies come in.
