Hangs on sync, then forces close

When I first installed this it worked fine, but after one of the updates, it developed a problem for me. (I'm running it on a T-Mobile MyTouch, btw).

The first problem was that I could open the program but during a sync it would hang and eventually do a forced close. At that point I uninstalled the program, rebooted the phone, reinstalled, etc., but the problem got worse. Now, when I open it, I'm led to the login page, which correctly verifies my account then tries to sync. It gets about 1/3 of the way done (according to the progress bar), but then it hangs and force closes. I'm unable to change any settings or anything like that.

Oh, and I've also tried what was suggested in the help files about setting the phone to connect via wifi, and looks like the only difference was that it did a force close quicker than before...but still doesn't make any further progress with the sync.
