 | comic0guy says: I would really like to see the ability to go to the app on Android, go to a task, see it, and click the location to bring up a map in google maps, lets say for navigation purposes.
Right now linking data to phones services, such as phones numbers work(for dialing), but locations don't work for maps.
There is a workaround sorta......I still use Google Calendar(with RTM as a subscribed calendar), so if i make the name of the location the actual location( instead of Home, the label is actually "123 fake street, west city, PA" ) that will be published to my google calendar and the google calendar will recognize it, and allow me to use that as an address in google maps.
So the application needs to allow android to see an address at least, that would be the easiest solution......second solution is to publish the actual location next to/within the label with the application giving android the address. Posted at 3:52pm on November 14, 2009 |
