reminder doesn't alert

tad Pro says:

I have tasks at every wednesday I have tasks at every Wednesday and Saturday, and
I've set reminder to alert at a day before.

Unfortunately it doesn't alert if I've forgot to mark "done" the task once.
It alerts well only if there is no un-done task.

Is it a bug or an intended behavior?

In general, Remember The Milk reminders won't continue to send if your tasks are overdue. You may be able to minimize this affecting you by having two separate tasks that repeat weekly (so you have a week to make sure you complete your tasks instead of a few days ;).
