due date dropdown list is inconsistent

mgtd Pro says:

When creating a new task with the smart add feature the drop down list of possible due dates is like this:
today
tomorrow
...
*never*

In "edit mode" of a task however the list order of the due dates is different:
*Never*
Today
Tomorrow
...

This is confusing me.
Is there a reason why those two dropdown lists don't have the same order?

BTW: Did you see that the dropdown list in edit mode is capitalized while the other isn't?
